I got this NOT cool thing!... So called "Swarovski" cell phone cover... SCAM alert!! www.juicybling.com is a scam.

Hi. This is a blog about something I ordered that ended up being SO NOT cool. I had read about it on Kandee Johnson's blog HERE and thought this was a great price for a Swarovski cell phone cover. Kandee Johnson normally has such great suggestions. I do NOT blame her. This iphone cover took over a month and a half to arrive and a lot of emails on my part to get SOMETHING in the mail. Well the SOMETHING was not what I ordered. I ordered THIS. And this is what I got!

1/ It is NOT what I ordered
2/ It is NOT Swarovski
3/ It is tacky with fake Chanel logo
4/ I deserve a refund for my $39.99 plus shipping.
The package ended up coming from Hong Kong which could have been why it took so long, but they should have communicated better.
Not to mention I have STILL not heard back from them or received a refund when I told them they sent the wrong cover and it is not as advertised.
This cover is worth maybe $5.
www.juicybling.com is a SCAM!!! Do NOT order from them.
http://juicybling.com is a fake company. DO NOT ORDER AN IPHONE COVER OR ANY CELL PHONE COVER FROM THEM. You may not get it and if you do it will NOT be Swarovski crystals as advertised.
Be aware and be cautious when purchasing online.
Happy Shopping!

I got this cool thing...Crate & Barrel pebble decorative pillow!

It was March.17th, the day of the St. Patricks Day Parade in NYC. I had the daunting task of getting from the west side to the east side for a doctors appointment right in the middle of the parade.
There were green people everywhere. More like green monsters. Drunk. Happy. Running around. Shouting. I was playing frogger in a sea of green. Fighting through the crowds of leprechauns and shamrocks.
I spied a woman who was on a mission like myself. She was moving at a fast pace and weaving and dodging the sea of green like a pro. I rode her coat tails and swiftly made my way through.
When I got across town early, I had some time to kill.
I needed peace. Sanctuary. I saw Crate & Barrel. Perfect! I can rest on their comfy couches.
I was so excited when I saw the "Cory" pillow staring at me. It looked like stones!! When I got closer I could see it was fabric. Check the pillow out HERE.
This is how it looks with my couch and other pillows.
I must say I am pleased! I love bringing the beach to my living room.
Here is a close up picture so you can see what the "stones" look like.
It is so fun to decorate with a beach theme. You can do mother of pearl accents (like my lamp), starfish, coral, pebbles, sand, sand dollars, shells, driftwood etc. Such a fun theme for Spring & Summer!
More on this in future blogs.

I got this cool thing... Bubble gum machine headband

So I was shopping in NYC at a little apothecary type store. It is actually called a "Lifestyle Emporium." It is called Therapie. Here is a link to the WEBSITE. I was looking for sunscreen for myself and my baby. In the front of the store they always have super cute things. I got a great orange and turquoise sea horse wallet for the summer (I will blog about that another time) and I got a head band that is meant for little girls but I just couldn't resist. It is a gold headband with gum ball machines in muted rhinestones on it. How adorable?! It is by Bari Lynn Accessories. Here is a picture of me wearing it along with my Marilyn Monroe t-shirt from last weeks blog.
Below are two close up pictures of the headband. It has three gum ball machines across.
Here is an extreme close up so you can see what the rhinestones are like.
Here is a link to some other cute headbands Therapie has HERE.
And here is a link to more Bari Lynn headbands HERE.

I got this cool thing... Marilyn Monroe beach cover up!!

If your house is anything like mine you get Victoria Secret catalogs delivered by the boatload. It seems they are in my mailbox almost every day and more than one at a time! Sometimes three or four sit waiting in the mailbox. One for bathing suits, one for lingerie, one for clothes, one for shoes!!! I was perusing the catalogs the other day and a few things caught my eye, so I went online and did a little shop. :) The greatest thing I got by far was a Marilyn Monroe beach cover up. Check it out on their website HERE.

The great thing about it is you can wear it as a dress with leggings and little high heel booties or lace up military boots, a shirt/tunic with skinny jeans and high boots and as a beach cover up. I adore it. Here is a picture of it hanging on my closet door.
It is super sexy with a hot pink bra for a pop of color since it is off the shoulder. :)

I got this cool thing... DVF Jeanne Wrap Dress!

I have always wanted to get a DVF wrap dress. DIANE von FURSTENBERG = Classic elegance.
This past year they had this awesome pattern I loved! The Graffiti "Love is Life" Jeanne wrap dress...but I was pregnant at the time and wanted to wait until after I had the baby.
By then that pattern was no longer available, but there was this other adorable tiny heart pattern. Perfect! I was having a Valentine's/Meet the baby party and this dress was highly suitable. Check it out HERE.
This is a picture of it hanging in my closet:
And here is a close up picture of the pattern and texture:
It is 100% silk and the hearts have a dash of greenish yellow in the center.

Here is a picture of me wearing it just before the party with my baby.

DIANE von FURSTENBERG wrap dresses are great because you can dress em up and dress em down. Throw on boots an a jean jacket and it's a great casual outfit. Heels and pearls and it's pure class with a dash of vintage style.

I got this cool thing...BOND NO.9 ANDY WARHOL PERFUME!

So I was on the subway in NYC coming back from a voice audition and I saw this cool, young hipster dude carrying this awesome bag and it caught my eye. Here is a picture of the bag:
SO! I just had to google it. And I found the company website. It is a company in NYC that makes perfume. Check out the site HERE.
Each scent is based on a different part of New York. They have scents like: Wall Street, Lexington Ave., Chinatown, Hamptons and many more! Very cool. :) The company is called Bond No.9 because the first store they opened was on Bond street in NOHO.
So on the weekend I headed out with my husband and 3 month old baby, Cali, across Central Park to the Madison avenue location and went shopping!!
I came home with the Lexington avenue/Andy Warhol scent. It is sweet. Notes: Blue cypress, fennel, roasted almonds, pink peony, crème brulée, and sandalwood. It reminds me a little bit of Thierry Muglers "Angel." The bottle is fabulous with different colored shoes all over it! Check it out! Andy Warhol said: "See a shoe and Pick it up and all day long you'll have Good Luck." The bottle is based on this PRINT.
The box the perfume comes in is also quite fabulous. Check it out!
So head to NYC and pick up a Bond No.9 scent!! So lush. Or check out the fun stuff on their website. They also have fabulous Swarovski encrusted bottles.
Happy Sniffing!!!
See you next week when I share my next cool thing!!
Much Love, Caroline xox

I got this cool thing... RED CRYSTAL LIPS RING.

Hi guys!!

So I got this awesome RED CRYSTAL LIPS RING.

I was walking down Madison avenue in NYC and saw this AMAZING lip ring in the window by Solange Azagury-Partridge: ENAMEL HOT LIPS RING
But at $1, 500 dollars the price was cringe worthy. So I set out to find it online on sale. No chance. So I tried to find a cheaper version. I ended up finding an even pricier one by Solange Azagury-Partridge. This one is a ruby encrusted 18 K white gold hot lips ring. CHECK IT OUT! But at $44, 000 that is just scary. Maybe I will get a car first?!
Yikes! But I loved the idea of the rubies so I continued my online search. Finally I found a gorgeous ring on Nasty Gal that was comparable at only $44!! Kiss Me Crystal Ring. That is a some kick ass savings and it looks just as good!!
So that is $44, 000 versus $44. :) Happy blinging. :)

Check back next week with my new cool thing! I will be posting one a week (every Saturday) and tell you where to get them! From jewelry to perfume to clothes to furniture to baby items!!!

Much love, Caroline xo
