I recently moved from NYC to San Francisco and we have this great new flat. I wanted to get a lovely plant for our living room and today I ventured out to the garden store and was going for a regular spider plant but I came across this adorable "Ponytail Palm" or the Beaucarnea recurvata.
It actually is not a palm at all!! It is a member of the Lily family. It is native to the states of Tamaulipas, Veracruz, and San Luis Potosà in eastern Mexico.
I like it because it is adorable and easy to care for! I placed it near the window and only have to water once every two weeks. :) Score! I definitely do NOT have a green thumb, so I hope I don't kill this one!
Check it out! Let me know what you think!!!
